Summary: The Effect of Occult Development Upon the Self and the Sheaths of Man (1978) (Lectures Section)
Description: Steiner delineates the almost imperceptible changes that take place in the physical body's experience of food as a consequence of spiritual development. He goes on to describe how we develop an inner experience of the etheric body and how our judgments, feeling, and willing are transformed. Gradually we are led to a direct perception of the reality of the great legends, notably the Paradise story and the Holy Grail legend.
Time: 12:00 AM - 12:15 AM Friday, December 16
Location: Rudolf Steiner Archive - Lectures Section
Summary: The Agriculture Course (1938) (Lectures Section)
Description: With these talks, Steiner created and launched 'biodynamic' farming - a specific form of agriculture which has come to be regarded as 'premium organic'. However, the agriculture Steiner speaks of in this book is much more than organic, and involves working with the cosmos, earth, and spiritual entities. To facilitate this, Steiner prescribes specific 'preparations' for the soil, as well as other distinct methods born from his profound understanding of the material as well as spiritual worlds. He presents a comprehensive picture of the complex dynamic relationships at work in nature and gives basic indications of the practical measures which are necessary for bringing them into full play.

Summary: Anthroposohy, A Fragment from 1910 (Articles Section)
Description: This text, outlining a new methodology for the study of human nature, dates from 1910 and was found after Rudolf Steiner's death among his unpublished papers. Steiner had dealt with the same theme earlier in lectures. Asked for a written version, he tried to write down what he had said, but found himself unable to do so -- the language would not completely relinquish the words. Nevertheless, what he was able to put down remains a major intellectual and spiritual accomplishment of the twentieth century.
